Requires LOTS of patience

I received this kit for free for review, but the review is mine and completely honest. I had so much fun building it. It also tested my patience in many ways, and taught me so many new things, from how to make grass from just paper to connecting wires with glue (and here I was wondering where I put my soldering iron 🤦🏻‍♀️). There are many little details and the photos don't do it justice. This kit would be suitable for older children (high school and up). However, it's a display piece once built, with very limited playability. It's a great way to do something off-screen.

Overall it’s a fun kit to build. I did have issues with removing wood parts as top layers the broke off in some places and left a gap (which I managed to hide on the undersides). I would have like to have better paint as it took at 3-4 coats to completely cover the dark edges.

Some parts of the walls were a bit warped and did not align correctly which caused a few gaps and I struggled a lot with the smaller items like handles and flowers.

The cat on the stool makes it worthwile!

Smaller scale, but very cute!

This kit is smaller than a lot of the other DIY kits but I actually liked the fact there wasn’t as much to assemble and the final product is so cute and charming! There was minimal wire work which was great, but there was quite a bit of painting required for the smaller parts and the sanding of the wood pieces is tedious. The flowers are all pre-cut which saved so much time and made assembling the plants a lot more fun. The little cat figurine is a purrrfect final touch for the kit too!
